Hi everyone! I’m Abbie and I am currently working at Arundel Travel as a Sales Executive Apprentice, a role I’ve now been in for just over three years. I can honestly say I love it more and more every day.

My favourite holiday so far has to be my trip to Mexico this November. I stayed at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres, which truly felt like a dream. With six incredible à la carte restaurants to choose, from steakhouse, Mexican to Japanese and Indian with every meal exceeding expectations. The staff went above and beyond throughout our twoweek stay, offering the warmest welcome and sharing fantastic local advice for tours like Chichen Itza and Xplor. (If you’re into zip lining and adventure, Xplor is absolutely for you!) I could talk about this holiday forever and I’d return in a heartbeat in a couple of years time.

Looking for something a little different to Mexico, I recommend Barcelona to absolutely everyone it’s been one of my favourite city this year! The city has a perfect blend of everything. golden beaches for relaxing, impressive architecture like the Sagrada Família and Park Güell for exploring, incredible food markets and of course Sangria! Barcelona has a special energy that suits every kind of traveller. Whether you're a beach lover, culture seeker or foodie, it really does tick all the boxes.

Working in the travel industry means my list of places I want to visit grows almost daily. Recently, lots of our customers have been enquiring about Japan, which looks fascinating from the cherry blossoms and snow monkeys relaxing in hot springs to ornate temples and high-speed bullet trains. But… Costa Rica is still at the very top of my personal list, especially as I’m determined to finally tick off my dream of seeing a sloth in the wild!
